The LX-3 takes three belts, and the listings that just say "fits Nakamichi" are why half of these come to my bench twice. Measured off the original parts, these are the sizes that work:

CAPSTAN DRIVEFLAT · 52.0 MM × 2.5

TAKE-UPFLAT · 96.5 MM × 2.0

COUNTERSQUARE · 45.0 MM × 1.0

The 96.5 take-up is the one that trips people up — the commonly sold 97 mm square belt rides the pulley crown and slips cold. Ask your supplier for flat, and measure before you pay.

This thread saved me a second order. My 97 mm square slipped exactly as described below room temperature — the flat 96.5 fixed it on the first try.

Do you stock these, or point me to a supplier in Europe? Shipping a full deck from Australia for a belt feels like overkill, but I would rather not guess a third time.

We keep the LX-3 set on the shelf and ship worldwide — three belts plus a fresh pinch roller usually costs less than the postage on a repair. Message on WhatsApp and I will check stock and quote postage to your postcode.
